Free delivery is one of the four service blocks on the Medical Arts Pharmacy homepage, next to immunizations, emergency on-call, and insurance billing. The rule is simple. Fayetteville addresses get medicine delivered daily. Elkins and Wesley get Tuesday and Thursday morning runs. There is no delivery fee listed for those routes.
Who the route is for
Delivery helps patients who cannot drive after a procedure, caregivers who cannot leave a patient, and businesses that keep a small staff kit on site. The homepage wording is "home or business." If you work near Huntsville Road or Center Street and want the driver to leave a bag at the front desk, say so when you refill.
How to put a refill on the truck
- Request the refill online or by phone. The steps are in how to refill prescriptions online.
- Tell the pharmacy you want delivery, not pickup. Include a gate code, a porch note, or a workplace contact.
- Keep the phone on. Drivers still call when an address is unclear.
- If you need the bag the same day in Fayetteville, ask what time the last run leaves. Elkins and Wesley patients should request by Monday evening for Tuesday morning, or by Wednesday evening for Thursday morning.
What delivery does not replace
Vaccines are still given in the store. Wheelchair fitting is still done in person. The after-hours emergency line, (479) 443-3411, is for urgent pharmacy questions, not for a missed delivery window. If a bag does not arrive, call the store that filled it. Fayetteville fax is (479) 443-3412. Elkins fax is (479) 296-6069.
Weather, holidays, and Saturday hours
Saturday hours are 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Sunday is closed. Holiday weeks can shift the Elkins and Wesley morning run. Ask when you place the order rather than assuming Tuesday still holds. Ice or a closed office building is the usual reason a driver returns a bag to the pharmacy.
Tie delivery to the rest of your care
Patients on Medicare Part D should confirm the address on the profile matches the address on the plan. Billing problems that delay a fill will also delay the truck. See Medicare Part D and pharmacy insurance billing. If you also need equipment, pair the delivery question with wheelchair rental or purchase so the staff do not schedule two trips.
Store maps and parking notes are on the Fayetteville contact page and the Elkins contact page. Delivery is free. Pickup is still available during posted hours if you would rather come in.
