The fastest way to request a refill at Medical Arts Pharmacy is the online form on the Online Refills page. The pharmacy rebuilt that form so you enter one seven-digit Rx number first, then pick any other ready prescriptions from a list. That order matters. If you skip the last submit click, the request never reaches the pharmacy.
Step-by-step refill
- Open the Online Refills page and wait for the secure form to load.
- Enter one Rx number. Use all seven digits, including leading zeros if they appear on the label.
- Complete the required contact fields so the staff can reach you if a drug is delayed or needs a new prescription from the clinic.
- When the form shows other prescriptions that are eligible, select the ones you actually need this week. Do not select items you still have at home.
- Click submit and wait for the confirmation. If the screen errors, call (479) 443-3411 rather than sending a second copy.
When the form is the wrong tool
Controlled substances, new prescriptions that have never been filled here, and medicines that need a prior authorization still need a phone call or a clinic fax. The online form is for refills the pharmacy already has on file. If your bottle says no refills remaining, the pharmacist has to contact the prescriber. Send the request a few days before you run out, not the morning of the last dose.
App and phone options
The homepage still points patients to a Medical Arts Pharmacy app in the Google and Apple stores for prescription management. If you prefer not to use a browser form, call the store that holds your profile. Fayetteville is (479) 443-3411. Elkins is (479) 296-6041.
Pickup or delivery
Most refill requests are ready for pickup at the store that filled them. If you want the medicine brought to you, say so in the comments. Fayetteville delivery runs daily. Elkins and Wesley delivery runs Tuesday and Thursday mornings. Details are in free prescription delivery in Fayetteville and Elkins.
Keep your insurance card current. A rejected online refill is often a plan update, not a missing drug. The billing notes in Medicare Part D and pharmacy insurance billing explain what to bring if a claim kicks back.
Label checklist before you click submit
- Rx number matches the bottle in your hand.
- Patient name matches the profile, including a suffix if you use one.
- You still have doses left to cover the day the pharmacy will fill it.
If the form fails on a phone browser, try a desktop or call the store. The staff would rather take the refill by phone than lose the request in a half-finished session.
